Made possible by a grant from the Michigan Commission on Public Art and gifts to the UM. By "inverting one ‘cage of triangles’ against the other," Rush sought to symbolize ISR’s work in the study of social change. A Professor of Sculpture at UM’s School of Art since 1962, Rush is also the sculptor of Sunstructure, a piece at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens, as well as Onus and the Koszonom Raoul Wallenberg Memorial, both on North Campus. |
