Aycock described her piece: "The elements are taken from various 2- and 3-dimensional scientific diagrams which attempt to explain various aspects of the universe, for example, the scattering of particles, models of spiral galaxies, the curvatures of space. ... These forms are pervasive in the art and culture of many societies both past and present." |
